I always benefit. whether its from learning something new or gaining a new perspective, or simply boosting my confidence and motivation to stick with my daily practices, these sessions are invaluable. I like that all the facilitators bring their own personal lived experience of chronic illness with them which makes them so much more relatable than any other online yoga/qigong/breathwork class that just doesn't understand the barriers we face. I love hearing them talk about their own journey, knowing where they've each come from and watching where they are at now brings immense hope to me and many others I'm sure.

These online chronic health classes have been my conduits to a community who understands disability and the challenges that come with isolation due to illness. The psychological and physical ramifications on the nervous system after a traumatic change in life circumstances are devastating. These classes give me something to look forward to, I leave feeling more regulated and capable and most importantly I leave feeling supported and hopeful. These classes are fundamental to my recovery.

These classes gave me new tools to help relax, help regulate the nervous system and help me feel positive about the day. It's actually very rare to find mindful and embodiment classes that are inclusive and work with people who are experiencing illness or disability. There can be some ableism in mainstream classes
