About the session:
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice for cultivating, balancing, and encouraging the smooth flow of energy throughout the body, and is widely acknowledged as an excellent modality for those with chronic illness due to its gentle nature. Using gentle and simple movement, meditation, and breathing these practices support mobility, stress reduction, relaxation, and the balancing of the body. Commonly students report feeling calmer, more relaxed, more enlivened, more focused, and more resilient. All practices can be done sitting or standing and if necessary variations can be provided for those who need to remain lying down. You can attend any of the 45 minute classes as an individual stand-alone session, but you will have a better experience and create greater momentum for your healing if you attend on a consistent basis and apply what you learn. Come along and connect with a supportive community and practice with others who are on a similar journey.
